Rain and coffee-totally expected in Seattle, but on the 2nd day of summer ? Hurriedly walking in the rain along Pike Street (one block up from the Market), I looked up from my umbrella and saw an automated sign —a giant man drinking a cup of coffee— definitely unique among coffee signage around the Sound. This seems to be a more logical Seattle symbol than 'Hammering Man' in front of SAM. Seattle Coffee Works has an Obama Blend - a melange of African coffee beans that may vary.
Doesn’t anyone grow coffee beans in America ? 🙂
