Isadora Duncan: The Children

Isadora is another artist in my biographical series. Duncan’s philosophy of dance departed from classical ballet toward more natural movement and personal expression in the early 20th century. While living in Europe for a time, she had two children who were both born by the sea and both died by drowning. Ironically, Duncan was very much inspired by the movement of the sea.
